This was a spur-of-the-moment cross-country flight to Tampa, FL. I booked it on the morning of Friday February 5, and flew out on Saturday morning. The objective was the see the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-130) on Sunday at 4:39 AM. Unfortunately they scrubbed the launch and moved it to Monday morning, so I didn't get to see it live. But the night spent waiting for it was fantastic and made the whole trip worthwhile!! No regrets at all -- if I had known on Friday I wouldn't get to see the launch, I'd still do this trip!
