This trip was unlike any other in that part of it was "planned" and part of it was "as unplanned as unplanned can be". Certainly the Kansas City-Columbus R/T was fixed and was the reason for this whole trip. Everything else was "extra".
The photographs on this page are from the 4th of July festivities at Washington DC. It was a HOT summer day, with temperatures soaring into the tripple digits! There are no still photographs of the fireworks (or any other place on this trip).
