12:13/5772.2 = Land's End. Can't see much because of rain and low clouds, but there is the Kenai mountain range on the other side of the water, barely able to make it out...
Till 12:45/5781.5 = Ate lunch at the town entrance...
3:05/5909.9 = Turned right on Seward Hwy (Hwy 9)
3:58/5943.2 = Entered Seward city limits after a massive construction jam -- last 1-2 miles took 30 minutes
4:40/5946.3 = Van Glider Motel, Seward, AK.
Change of plan -- I cancelled this reservation and made another one in B.W. in Wasilla -- it's too rainy and cloudy to be able to see the FANTASTIC mountains all around here! The song on the CD was "Go your own way" after the gas fillup -- that got me thinking!

5:45/5982.6 = End Hwy 9 at JCT Hwy 1
I've been in Alaska for 2 weeks now ... and as of tomorrow night, I'd have been on every paved highway in the state, and all except 3 unpaved highway -- outside of Skagway and Haines, but that's coming up too... Also almost every road will be minimum twice -- except for Tok to Delta Junction and Tok to Gakona Junction (once each). Also, I've been to (i.e. flown in/out of) 6 airports in the state -- more than any other (California is 2nd with 5 airports) ... another statistic: The 15 continuous days that I would have been visiting this state is a personal record (California doesn't count). OR I MAY have been in Florida that long on my first trip -- need to check that!
