The previous night was a long night - after the non-celebrations
at the Eiffel Tower, I walked back to the hotel and reached around
2 A.M. After that, I sent the day's journal email, then watched some
television (saw the wonderful fireworks at Berlin on TV), drank some
more wine and finally went to sleep around 5 A.M.
Was then woken up at 9 A.M. by a phone call from back home...
Then went to sleep again, and pretty much slept and relaxed for
most of the day. It was also snowing outside, so I didn't really
feel like going out into the city either. Besides, most of the
places would be closed anyway.
So this ended up a "do-nothing day" -- the first such day ever
in my 10 total days spent in Paris so far.
Obviously, no pictures taken today...
