Subject: this keyboard is completely screwed up!!

Bonsoir,

When i punched in "Paris Charles De Gaulle airport" on the car's navigation system this morning, it gave an ETA of 6:00 pm. i arrived in the southern city limits at 4pm (no speeding) ... and by the time i got to the airport through the evening rush hour traffic, found the place to return the rental car, took the inter-terminal bus to the metro station, took the metro to near the hotel, found my hotel and checked in, it was past 8pm. FOUR HOURS FOR ALL OF THAT!!!! now its close to 9pm and i'm making 5 typing mistakes per word on this idiotic keyboard where almost every key is in the wrong place and i have to press SHIFT for all numbers and ALTGR for the .

i hate this keyboard.

ok....... so now i'm in paris finally at the end of a beautiful day weather-wise. the drive through southern france (bordeaux, tours, orleans) was fairly uneventful - theres not much along the road. just a lot of farms, and not all of them grew grapes. it is very very cold here though - i was wearing my gloves for the first time in probably 2 years. i was thinking about going to Champs-Elysses for dinner (i even remember which restaurant - next to a metro exit) but now dont really feel like it. My hotel (actually apartment) is in the oldest section of Paris -- Arr.1 if you know the city -- just across the river from the Notre Dame cathedral and close to Centre G Pompidou and Hotel de Ville. And 2 blocks away from the Louvre ,usue,.

M!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

grrrrrrrr...

I have a whole studio apartment -- 1 bedroom (living room), kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen has all appliances plus utensils and pots and pans -- of course i'm not going to use THOSE... but they're there.

so - thats where i am for the next 4 nights. Nothing planned really except watching the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower tomorrow. Might go to Fountainbleu and/or Chartres but its raining every day after the 1st, so i'll just see what i feel like each day..

thats all for today, and btw i'm typing from a (free) internet station in the lobby, so there will be daily emails until at least the 2nd.

i want to break this keyboard now. or maybe rip it out of the computer and throw it in the Seine river.

bon nuit......

a bientot,
moi.
