Subject: Zurich airport is not very passenger-friendly

It was raining most of the day today... So I didn't go
to Interlaken. In fact I didn't go anywhere! I started
driving from Luzern and entered the freeway northbound
instead of southbound by mistake. I figured what the
hell and just keep driving, maybe go to Germany...

So I kept driving and ....

driving....

for a whole hour and went to the Zurich airport and
returned the rental car 1 day ahead of schedule, then
took the shuttle bus to the Zurich airport Hilton -
which is where i am right now.

So most of the day today I've been using my laptop in
my room to connect on an ethernet link, and uploading
my pictures on the web.... while looking out my 6th
floor window at planes taking off. I'll be back in
California about 26 hours from right now...

All pictures along with the trip description (i.e. all
these emails I've been sending) are now up on the
website:

http://www.callmewanderer.com

If you notice there's a slight change in the main
page. Just click on the "Europe '03" link and enjoy
the pictures as much as I've enjoyed this trip!

Yes it's been raining the whole time I've been in
Switzerland, but in spite of that (or because of that)
the mountain scenery has been fantastic! And I'll be
back again for views of the Matterhorn and Jungfrau
;-)

So, till next trip...

auf weidersehn, bye, au revoir, ciao,*
-moi.
