Dont have too much time.... only 13 minutes left so i'll make it quick:
Did not go to Toledo. I woke up too late and missed the morning train. There
weren't any other trains to Toledo, so bought a ticket for Sevilla and went
there instead. 2 hours 25 minutes by AVE -- "Alto Velocidad" high speed train.
Sevilla was magnificient, even though i did not get to go inside anywhere. Saw
the Cathedral there, which is the largest gothic building in the world - built
in the 12th century i think. Very nice stone scultptures around the whole
building, especially on the doors (which were closed, so did not go in).
Also roamed around the town, taking quite a few photographs... had lunch in
beautiful cafe overlooking the city's main canal, and "Torro de Oro" - Tower of
Gold. 10 minutes left. better hurry.... skip to the end.... Saw the Plaza de
Espana too - nice ceramic mosaics all along depicting each of the provinces of
Spain. Couple of good fountains too... and also nice ice cream.
That was all on the 6th.
