Today is (probably) my last day in Fairbanks (maybe) on this trip (definitely). It's been sort of a central hub within Alaska ... now going South...
12:24/5129.2 = Joined Hwy 3 South at Airport Hwy for Anchorage... "Bye Fairbanks"
2:28/5246.9 = Passed JCT of Denali National Park road -- too cloudy to see The Great One
2:56/5270 = Its cleared up on this side of the mountains -- maybe Denali will be visible today after all?
3:51/5231.5 = The Great One is not to be seen from Denali State Park viewpoints -- looks like I'll have to see it on my next trip. Today was last opportunity on this trip (unless by some miracle I see it from the plane tomorrow -- but that's unlikely since I'm sitting on the other side -- only during takeoff/landing at Anchorage)
