10:45 AM = Drove around the town in the morning and got the 2nd arctic circle certificate... Now at the airport for 11:45 departure to Barrow (Frontier Flying Service). Alaska Airlines has service to Anchorage, Fairbanks, Barrow from here. This has been a fantastic trip up north, with great weather! Now to Barrow..
1:10 PM = Flight from Deadhorse --> Nuiqsut --> Barrow! Got out of the plane and put my jacket on -- that was the most unique regular flight I've ever been on!
Walked to the "Top of the World Hotel" on the other side of town - about 1/2 hour ... The ocean has icebergs and my room faces the north towards the ocean!! I have a map of the town so just going to roam around town today -- its 50 F outside but feels cooler than that.
The plane was a Beechcraft BE1900C.
